Are you up for a new reading adventure? Sign up for our 2021 Book Challenge and find out what's out there besides the bestsellers. Every month we will pick a book - first in a series, a microhistory, something foreign translated to English, something you may have read way back in high school, or something else.

Starting November 28th, please send us pictures of you in your UGLY Christmas Sweater! And, watch for our latest installment of adventures in the library on Facebook and YouTube - "Disfunctional Zoom Holiday" premiers December 7 and "Twas the Night Before Christmas at the Oak Harbor Public Library" drops December 21.

We are open 9:30-6:00 Monday-Thursday, 9:30-5:00 Friday, and 9:00 to 12:00 on Saturday. But, we do much more than books!

Imagine a full bookshelf, available to a child at home before he or she ever enters a kindergarten classroom! Partnering with the Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library (OGIL), United Way in Ottawa County and community leaders are “imagining” just such a scenario with the September 2020 launch of Imagination Library in Ottawa County. The combined efforts will put up to 60 picture books in the hands of every Ottawa County child, from birth to age 5.

Registration closed for the November election on October 5, but in person voting opened. And, you can still request an absentee ballot.
